I would like to introduce myself with a brief summary of experiences: Formally trained as a product designer with a degree from North Carolina State University. Since graduation I have put my formal educational discipline behind me... (whatever that means). As an artist I have always been a sculptor and painter and in between have owned and run a commercial studio since 1980. The studio’s many areas of expertise included packaging design, graphic design and commercial photography. Throughout this time I was constantly working in two and three dimensions. Always working on form and composition as a visual initiative. During the time that I was running my studio I taught a number of courses in photography at the community college level. I have reached a point in my career where I have decided to put my work "out there". hence the website. I hope that you enjoy my work and also receive inspiration from it.
